How to become a member of the Representative Council

We are in the process of accepting nominations for the 2011--2013 OCSEA representative council. If interested please contact Richard Berman at ocseapresident@yahoo.com

Also, when vacancies occur you can attend three consecutive Rep Council meetings (as a non-voting member) and state that you would like to be a representative. A current representative can make a motion to nominate you, and then the reps would vote on it. Given a majority in your favor, you would be a representative at that moment and could initiate, second, or vote on any subsequent motions.

Meanwhile, you don't have to be a representative to attend and participate in discussions. If you have an issue you want covered, notify Richard Berman at ocseapresident@yahoo.com no later than 8:00 AM the morning of the meeting to have it included on the agenda.
